George was a much loved Uncle and very good with children. When Miriam and I were small he used to plug his brand new bang on trend tape player into the light fitting!! After removing the light bulb. Yes a forgotten era! Then he used to play us tapes of Thumbelina and Jack the Giant! We loved this as it was cutting edge at the time!

He also used to take us on the small train ride along Felixstowe seafront - long gone now I am afraid and onto the crazy golf course; where nobody was ever sure who the winner was. He also used to patiently wait while we swam for the third time that day in the sea! Grandma and Grand-dad had a beach hut into which we went to devour fish and chips! Happy Days.

George was always a kind man and will be greatly missed by us all.
